Best of 2009

Hey everybody! I hope you all rang in the new year just the way you wanted. Now I just have to remember to write 2010 and not 2009. It always takes me a bit of adjusting till I get it right. This year also marked the begining of this blog. My first post was actually on April 10, 2009. Check it out! My blog has obviously changed a lot from that post.

Best Bowl of Oatmeal

This was like a bowl of heaven! The creamy banana ricotta pillow nestled on top a delicious bowl of vanilla oatmeal.

I remember this bowl, and I remember licking everything – even the blender – clean!

    I think it’s unfair to label just these select things as being the best, because every single post I have ever read on you is better than the next. They ALL are the best! Hands down!! :)

  2. The 18 Rabbits Cheeky Cherry Chocolate bar–so this is super high praise for a bar!! As food bloggers, we are exposed to 8798789 kinds of bars on a daily basis and to hear your absolute fave, that’s big. I will buy this if I can find it. And Boomi’s honorable mention, also great to know!

    The Best of Nut Butters, too. Same as bars. there are a million so Artisana’s Pecan, good to know. And good ole 365 crunchy always a winner :)

    Happy New Yr, I have you a little shout out in yesterday’s post re Veuve champagne :) I mentioned my fave champagne. Considering I have drank once in 5 yrs (last week!) I am not girl I used to be with champagne but I love it….love love love!

  4. That bowl of oatmeal looks like it should be called “Breakfast of the Gods.” While I unfortunately haven’t tasted the recipe, judging by the looks of it I totally understand licking the bowl clean. ;)

  7. You’re such a star :) I tried many of the things you listed! The ricotta cloud is the coolest bowl of oats I’ve ever seen…
